I’m back at work and very busy at it! I’m helping kids in Chemistry class, two Math 1 classes, and a Math 3 class. I like the opportunity to learn things I don’t remember studying when I was in school! I’m glad the weather has cooled down and hope it will stay in the 50s and 60s for a while. When it’s in the 80s (like it was last Thursday and Friday) the upstairs of the school gets very warm and unbearable! Every day I come home exhausted and seem to have no energy to do anything around the house.
Weekends have been busy too with going to watch Megan play soccer every Saturday morning. I really enjoy watching her games, even though she doesn’t get to play much. There are some very good players on her team so they’ve only lost one game so far, won two, and tied one. Megan sticks to her spot at defense and tries to kick the ball when it’s near her. Close to the end of one game, Megan was on the front line so we got to watch her run up and down the entire field 🙂
After spending quite a bit of time this summer making Irish dance dresses, I received Emily’s back to shorten it. When I sent it back to her, I transposed a couple numbers of the zip code so the package didn’t get back for an entire week! It took a couple calls to the post office and some calls from the postmaster to locate the package and get it delivered. Needless to say, I have changed the zip code in my address book.
I’ve been doing some knitting and had one sock almost completed when I decided to try it on – and found it was a pretty tight fit. I reluctantly ripped it all out and have started a new sock in a different pattern this time! I made a scarf from the yarn I got when we were in Vermont this summer.
I’m still trying to get used to my new computer and the different version of my picture program so I haven’t been able to get pictures downloaded very well. I also had trouble being able to play some of my favorite games on Facebook for a couple weeks, but tonight, they magically appeared again so I can play them again 🙂
