This is the first day of a heat wave and the kids are finding a way to keep cool!

Tomorrow is Megan’s tenth birthday so I made this bag for her.

Her main present will be a shopping trip probably next week. We’ve gone shopping the last couple years and we always have such a good time!

Last Sunday Abby wanted to make a prayer request at church for herself. She wanted people to pray for her so she could get a trampoline!

Colors

Standard

Today I bought some nail polish. I was surprised at myself because of one color choice

I think I was inspired by my knitting project!

I also found out how easy it is to spend $173 at Walmart when I’ve been gone for two weeks! The refrigerator was bare…

Home!

Standard

After being gone for one day less than two weeks, I arrived home this afternoon! I immediately noticed some changes to the yard – 3 1/2 inches of rain in the rain gauge, beautiful hollyhocks

And More Fun

Yesterday, Michelle, the girls and I went to see the guys at their GOBA campsite.

While there, we went into town and had some yummy Mexican food.

On our trip down to camp I was knitting and came to the place where I really needed markers, but I didn’t bring any with me. I looked around and found one hair band and one paper clip but I needed four markers. When Michelle told me she had scissors, my problem was solved – I cut four pieces of my straw into nice markers!

As you can see, I’m babysitting this morning!

Relaxing…

Standard

I’ve been at Jessica’s for a week and have been stiff and sore most of the time because of moving – packing and unpacking – but I’m getting a nice break this afternoon. Jess and Adam are running some errands and Audrey has been taking a nice long nap. I’ve been sitting here knitting and reading and enjoying a nice calm afternoon.

Audrey woke up a few minutes ago and is playing in her crib and talking happily. I have the baby monitor near me and am listening to her sweet voice!

Audrey loves playing outside and liked watching Mommy blow bubbles.
